Foundation Milosardie is registered with decision № 125 of 17.02.2006/ Sliven District Court for community service. Established under civil initiative to work in support of young people with disabilities in Sliven. One of the activities of the Foundation Milosardie is under Project for an establishment a center for occupational therapy. Foundation Milosardie is a provider of social services for people with disabilities has licenses by the Register of the Agency for Social Assistance, for the following social services: Registration certificate № 343-04/11.11.2010 on the granting of Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration for the elderly; Registration certificate № 343-01/08.109.2009 for providing Day Centre for adults with disabilities; Registration certificate № 343-02/08.10.2009 for providing of social assistant for the elderly; Registration certificate № 343-03/08.10.2009 for providing Home assistant for the elderly. Certificate № 014/19.12.2011 for the implementation of public activities, under № 20111219014. The primary mission of the Foundation is overcoming the consequences of longstanding social isolation of the young people with disabilities in Sliven Center for occupational therapy - Project by Foundation Milosardie With contract № 39-68/02.05.2012 between Social Protection Fund Sofia and Foundation Milosardie Sliven to open Center for occupational therapy. Project duration is 6 months from 01.07.2012 to 31.12.2012 year. Overall project objective: Improving the quality of life of people with disabilities and increase their opportunities for social inclusion through the development of their personal skills, social skills and their labor competences. The project is aimed at creating innovative social service Center for occupational therapy. Within the project team of the Center will develop and test the methodology of the service The innovative service Center for occupational therapy will create conditions for half-day and part-time support for people with disabilities, will provide an environment in which they will create social contacts, develop their abilities and skills, gain experience in a real working environment, guided by experienced mentors. Clients of the Center and their families, through personal choice can have psychological, social and rehabilitative consultations. Foundation Milosardie has a team of specialists - psychologist, social worker, two occupational therapists, Rehabilitator Specific objectives of the project for the Center for occupational therapy: Increasing the opportunities for social inclusion of people with intellectual, physical disabilities, sensory problems and people with mental illness living in Sliven. Provide an opportunity for people with disabilities and their families to enjoy an innovative integrated service Center for occupational therapy. Optimizing the system of social services through the development and promotion of the model of the service Center for occupational therapy. Users of the social service would be 20 people with disabilities in working age from 18 to 35 years, including people with mental disabilities, physical, sensory disabilities as well as chronic mental problems. This project offer is fully consistent with the needs of people with disabilities from Sliven and in line with the national policy, municipal strategy and municipal plan in supporting people in disadvantaged position. The Foundation works in partnership with the Association of parents of children and adults with sensory, physical and mental disabilities St. Stilian Detepazitel - Sliven.
