Combi-Tunnel ventilation
The system can be used in subtropical and tropical regions of the world. Combi-Tunnel ventilation is a negative pressure system suitable for poultry and pig production.
The system integrates various ventilation principles into a single intelligent system. Combi-Tunnel ventilation ensures optimum conditions for the animals by letting ventilation depend on the outdoor temperature and the age of the animals
The system is designed specifically for regions with heavy daily or seasonal temperature fluctuations. Fresh air is taken in through wall inlets during cold periods, thus creating minimum ventilation to remove the excess moisture and heat of the animals; furthermore, the air velocity is kept at a low level. During hot periods, fresh air is supplied through a tunnel opening to create a cooling air current in the longitudinal direction of the house. Air is let out through wall fans / chimneys during cold periods and through gable fans during hot periods.
